Message from president
Substance abuse is a worldwide problem which have been creating physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual problems for millions of people, and Nepal is no exception. Over the last few years, growing drug use and alcoholism has been a increasing concern to the society in Nepal. Since Nepal is a third world country, it has been chosen as a transit point to traffic narcotic drugs and precursor chemicals to neighbouring countries. Now, we are able to find many drugs which we had only heard about. So, this issue can be solve but it’s not simple. Because addiction is a chronic disease, people can’t simply stop using drugs for a few days and be cured. Most patients need long-term or repeated care to stop using completely and recover their lives.
